Another Great Quote from Congress
Here is another great quote:
Congressman: Mr. Selic (its selig) is it known if Mr. Palmary (its Palmeiro) took steroids before he hit his 300th hit?
Selig: What?
Congressman: I mean his 3,000th hit.
How did these guys get elected, "hit his 300th hit" that has to be the worst possible phrasing, EVER. I am pretty sure an autistic kid could have phrased it better. Also how did they pick these guys to be on this committee, arent there a couple of guys in congress who know a little something about baseball.

That Congressman succeeded in screwing up 86.33 (editors note: repeating, of course) percent of his prepared statement. If I got to consistently do this I would be teaching by now.
I'm fairly certain you've never prepared any statements.
You would be fairly correct. I have law students who prepare my statements for me.
